Pathways Program
When you become a Member of Attitude Boosters you'll gain access to Toastmasters' educational program called Pathways. The Pathways program is broken down into various topics; some focused on presentation skills and others on leadership or motivational skills. Once you complete a "Pathway" you will be awarded a Toastmaster communicator designation.
The Basics
Each Pathway is divided into 5 levels with approximately 3 prepared speech presentations within each level. The Pathway is a self-paced learning opportunity. Each level builds on the previous one enhancing your communication and presentation skills. The more often you give a speech the more confident you'll feel as you progress. Just as the more often you visit the gym the stronger you will become, the same can be said for practicing giving a presentation. Giving one speech a year is not as beneficial as giving a few and building your skills sets.

Each module provides opportunity for self reflection on your skills and guidance and tips for enhancing particular skills. Every project has a major objective and also some secondary goals. For instance one of the project's main objective may be to learn how to use gestures. You'll be encouraged to write a speech that allows you to use your hands and body posture to emphasise the topic.
You will earn a digital badge each time you complete a level, and upon completion of a full path, you will receive a digital badge on Base Camp, along with a certificate of proficiency that can be downloaded or printed.
Our Club assigns members into various roles for each meeting. People are encouraged to give a speech every few months. As you present speeches you will mark them as complete in the Pathways online module and the Vice President of Education or the President will verify completion with Toastmasters International. As you move the program you will earn badges of accomplishments and extra confidence in your ability to communicate.
